🐸👑 A Letter to Santa Claus – The Magic of Dreams and Goals That Drive Action

When was the last time you wrote a letter to Santa Claus?

Maybe it was many years ago when, as a child, you sat down with a piece of paper, full of excitement and hope that your dreams would come true. Or maybe you never did it because someone told you that dreams are for children?

Today, I want to inspire you to look at your goals the way children look at gifts from Santa—with faith that anything is possible.

A Letter to Santa – More Than Just Child’s Play

I remember when my daughter Alexandra, just a few days before Christmas, wrote her letter to Santa Claus. She carefully placed it on the Christmas tree and waited confidently, convinced that Santa would take it.

And you know what? The letter really disappeared—I hid it during the night. 🎅 Alexandra was overjoyed and completely calm because she knew Santa had already read it and was working on her gifts.

To make things easier for Santa (😉), I even asked her about the details of the toys she wanted—just to be sure nothing was missed!

And guess what? Alexandra’s wishes have already come true.

But what about my dreams?

My Letter to Santa – Daily Motivation

Not only did Alexandra write her letter to Santa—she also asked me to write mine.

And I did.

That letter now hangs by my desk. I look at it every day, and it reminds me of what I truly desire. It’s my motivation to take at least one small step each day toward the goals I wrote in that letter.

I believe—no, I’m convinced—that if I do my part, Santa, the universe, and everything else will help me achieve my dreams.

Why Should Adults Write Letters to Santa?

Writing a letter to Santa Claus is not just a childhood tradition. It’s an exercise that allows you to pause for a moment and ask yourself:

What do I really want?

Children know exactly what they want. They write detailed lists—specific colors, sizes, and features. Meanwhile, we adults often hesitate, avoid dreaming, or make our wishes so vague that they’re impossible to achieve.

But if you don’t know what you want—how can you achieve it?

The Magic of Christmas and the Power of Action

There’s something magical about Christmas—it’s a time that helps us believe everything is possible.

That’s why I encourage you to write your own letter to Santa—or to yourself.

In my book “Successful Mindset: The Key to Achieving Your Goals”, co-written with Brian Tracy, I often emphasize that success begins with a clear vision and a plan of action.

Dreams are like a map—they show you where you want to go. But it’s action that gets you there.

How to Write a Letter to Santa? (Even as an Adult)

  1. Write down your dreams—both big and small.
  2. Be specific—the more details, the better.
  3. Think about what steps you can take today to start moving toward achieving them.

Hang this letter somewhere visible. Look at it every day and ask yourself: What can I do today to be one step closer to my goal?

Dreams vs. Goals – How to Turn One Into the Other?

Dreams are beautiful, but it’s goals that make them come true.

For me, what started as a playful idea—writing a letter to Santa—became a practical tool for motivation.

That letter, hanging by my desk, is more than just a piece of paper. It’s a reminder that I need to take action.

Because even if the universe and Santa Claus support those who dream—they especially help those who take action.

Alexandra already has her wishes fulfilled. As for mine—I don’t just hope for them, I have a plan and take steps every day to make them happen.

Conclusion – Start With a Dream, Then Start Taking Action

Writing a letter to Santa Claus is more than just a childhood tradition. It’s an exercise that helps you clarify your goals, believe in them, and set yourself up for success.

If you take the first step—write down your dreams and start acting on them—you’ll soon see how things start to fall into place. Because dreams are just the beginning.

Dreams do come true—you just need to start dreaming, start acting… and then Santa, the universe, and everything else will surely help you. 🐸👑
