🐸👑 From Reset to Dream Realization: The Power of Persistence 💪🌟

A New Beginning: Turning Life's Challenges into Stepping Stones 💪🌟

Ten years ago, in 2013, I went through a pivotal moment – a divorce and starting life anew. During those tough times, Brian Tracy's audiobooks and books became my anchor. Whenever everything seemed to be going wrong, the phrase "You can do it," which Brian often repeated, became my personal mantra. "I can do it" – these simple words helped me get up every day and face new challenges.

The Desire to Escape

Back then, I longed to leave far away, to escape the place that had been my home for years. I discovered that those I considered friends were not really friends – especially during the difficult times of divorce. It turned out they were not even friends with my ex, as they could say one thing in the presence of one person and something completely different in the presence of another. I decided to avoid such destructive dialogues, knowing it made no sense to engage in conversations with someone who would turn my own words against me shortly after. And I focused on work, on building my own company, and... on painting.

A Changed Perspective

These experiences critically changed my way of thinking about who I should have in my surroundings. Currently, my circle of friends is much smaller, but these are people I can call in the middle of the night and be sure they will help me – and I am ready to do the same for them. Now I understand how important it is to surround yourself with people you would like to be like; people better than us, who inspire, motivate, and constantly strive for their own goals. Despite challenges, this message is deeply positive for me. It's not about complaining about those who failed, but about realizing how essential it is to have even a small, but trustworthy circle of friends, instead of a wide circle of acquaintances you can't rely on. It's a lesson I pass on: valuable people in life are priceless.

Adam and Me: Navigating Life's Adventures Together

In 2013, I met Adam. From the very first moments, we knew we were made for each other. Throughout all these years, we have not only remained a couple but have also become best friends. In fact, we have been so from the very beginning and still are. Together, we have been involved with machines for plastics processing for over 10 years, we paint together and travel the world together. We have visited more than 35 countries across 5 continents, some of them multiple times. Together, we spent 6 weeks traveling through South America, visiting Peru, Chile, Cuba. We have also explored China, Morocco, Hong Kong, Russia, and many other places, leaving us with beautiful memories and countless photos.

Interestingly, while still in my previous relationship, which was already falling apart at that time, I received a birthday card from a friend, depicting a man described by many positive traits. At that time, I thought such an ideal man probably didn't exist. However, I kept that postcard, added my own wishes to it, for example, for him to be as eloquent as Brian, and soon after, I met Adam – the man who turned out to be the realization of those dreams. Just like Brian had his list of ideal partner traits, I had mine, and Adam fit perfectly into what I was looking for.

Unshakable Belief: "You can do it"

Sometimes, I felt like I had no strength left, but then I thought: "If not me, who?" "I can do it," "And if not?" "I can do it!" And it worked – I achieved success, even though at that moment nothing indicated it would happen. Ten years ago, in 2013, when I was going through my life reset, I listened to Brian Tracy's audiobooks and read his books. Even when everything seemed to be going wrong, I kept repeating after Brian: "You can do it" and told myself "I can do it".

Meeting Brian in San Diego

When I met Brian in San Diego in September 2023, and he was signing an autograph for me, you won't believe what he wrote... "You can do it"! Something that became my motto, as I kept repeating it like a mantra back then. 📝 I then asked Brian to also sign my newly started notebook, where I jot down my thoughts and my goals and plans – this time he wrote: "Magdalena, You can achieve anything you decide!" And now this thought also guides my actions. 📘

Being Like Leonardo da Vinci – My Interdisciplinary Interests

I've become an expert in the plastics processing and recycling industry, an artist painter, and also a fan of quantum physics, healthy eating, and alternative medicine. Following Brian's advice, I became an expert in my field. 🚀 Now, I paint oil paintings, which was my hobby and has become my profession. From decision to action – just as Brian says: "start" and "do at least one step every day towards your main goal". This resulted in wins at painting competitions, exhibitions in Berlin, Milan, Paris, Warsaw, and the creation of over 60 oil paintings. I even painted a portrait of Brian as a gift for his 80th birthday 🎨

I also love long travels and getting to know foreign cultures, I'm learning 6 foreign languages and I'm doing quite well. I speak German, English, and Polish, and I communicate in Italian, Spanish, and Russian. I'm also learning Chinese. Luckily, Adam loves traveling too, so we travel together. Together, we also paint and jointly run projects in the field of recycling and plastics processing. We are fortunate to support each other. When one of us loses zeal and motivation, the other motivates to action.

Developing Passions: Processing and Art 🎨🚀

I decided to focus on plastics processing, recycling, and painting, aiming to be an expert in these two areas. For a moment, I wondered if I could afford such interdisciplinarity, but then I remembered Leonardo da Vinci, who was also a master of many fields. So why should I limit my passions? My interests are broad and they guide me in my diverse, yet coherent, professional path.

Combining Art and Science: The Exhibition at Plastpol

I strive to combine my passions and knowledge. This year, I will be coordinating an art exhibition that will take place during the Plastpol fair in Poland. It's the largest trade fair for the plastics industry in Eastern Europe. Last year, it was visited by over 15,000 people. This is my industry, where I have been active since 1996. This time, I will show myself from a completely different side and present my oil paintings. Specifically for this fair, I painted a Cuban man washing PET bottles. I met him once during one of my trips to Cuba. He was sitting on the sidewalk and with a smile on his face was washing PET bottles. I myself implement PET bottle recycling lines in companies, which process from 500 to 2000 kg of such bottles per hour. It's such a contrast in terms of quantities. :-) However, this man had so much peace and cheerfulness that I took a few pictures of him back in 2016, which then decorated my computer screen for many years, and in 2024 I decided to paint him and show it during the Plastpol fair. Thus, connecting my paintings to the plastics industry with my work.
